My brand-new LGenV2
I've had a new cell phone for about a month now. I am so excited to tell you all about it as I am really enjoying all the neat features that I did not have previously on my old phone. Of course, my old phone was an antiquated, very outdated phone that nobody should ever be caught dead with. I was stuck with that phone for a couple of years, but now I've got this cool new phone that allows me to more easily keep in close contact with family and friends, in several different ways, and I am so thankful to have it!
My favorite use of this new phone is texting - which is so super-easy with the full QWERTY keypad, as you can see in this picture. This is a pic I took after I received a confirmation text message from Facebook, giving me the directions for using Facebook Mobile! (My old phone did not have a QWERTY keypad - ugh!) I think I average about 100 text messages a week. Does that mean I am "textually active"? Ha ha ha! :)
Another favorite method of staying in touch is sending photo messages. This phone has a 2.0 megapixel camera that takes pictures and videos, and you can send them out via pic/video message or email. Or, you could also post them directly to the Web! (As you can guess, my old phone did not even have a camera on it! How on earth was I able to stand it?)
Sending photo messages is particularly useful when you're out and about and want to share the view with someone special. You can easily take a snapshot, then send it to the person via picture message, and hope it goes through! Most of the time it does, but I've had a couple of occasions when for one reason or another it did not go through. If I may dare, I am going to blame that on the recipient's cell phone service. You see, I am perfectly happy with my Verizon now, and I can't imagine it possibly being Verizon's fault! :)
And of course, there's the good, old-fashioned voice calls that you can make on it. I particularly like being able to not only see the name of the caller or person I am calling, but also a picture of the person - that is, if I assign a picture to the name in my phonebook! (Yes, you guessed it, I did not have the ability to do that on my old phone.) This really appeals to a person who is very visual, like myself.
And one last thing. I love being able to play MP3s on it too! I have only one album on my cell phone's Music List at the moment. I wonder if anyone can guess what album that is? If you don't know the answer to that, then I suggest you read some of my older posts, particularly this one here.
So there you have it! This is my brand-new cell phone. My new text messaging machine and mobile communication device. I absolutely love this thing, and I cannot imagine not having it.

Welcome to the modern world! Haha! When it's time to upgrade my phone, I am going to get a phone similar to yours with a full QWERTY keyboard as well.
By that time, you'll probably get a phone even better than mine! But I won't complain. I am happy with my new phone and can be content with it for at least the next couple of years. :) If you plan to do a lot of texting, you definitely need a full QWERTY keyboard. I tell you, Sis, having this new phone has made my life soooo much easier. Still so much in love with it as the first day I got it!
